Lazy Day

For the past two days Jonathan has been home sick. He has a pretty bad sinus infection. He actually went to the doctor yesterday because he had so much pressure behind his eyes. He got an antibiotic and feels much better now. Today was mostly spent relaxing and playing Mario.

Valentine

The boys got their valentines today. Matthias worked on his for a little while before and after school. It takes a while for him to write his name, but he is doing a great job. He really wanted to take them to school today, but he didn't get them all done. He did insist on taking the teacher card to his teacher today though....he was really excited to give it to her.

Super Bowl

After having children, Jon and I have given up trying to go to Super Bowl parties. It's usually pretty chaotic wrangling our three kids. So we are watching the game at home. The boys are playing Mario and Charley is running around with "balloonies". Low-key is sometimes relaxing.

Party Time

This afternoon we got to celebrate one of the kids' friend's birthday. The party was football themed with lots of yummy game day type food. The kids had a great time eating and playing games. They were definitely wound up when we got home!

Sweet Moment

Occasionally our children have sweet moments together. They decided to look at pictures on the computer together...and they all loved it.

Big Girl!

So the time has come for Charley to transition to a toddler bed. We have been letting her play with Thi before putting her to bed for a while now, and she has done really well with that...and typically falls asleep on the floor anyways. So far tonight has gone pretty well.

Sometime it's necessary to open up a box of Cheez-It's to get through a trip to Wal-Mart.
