Nightly Ritual

It's become a nightly ritual for Jon to play Mario with the boys when he gets home. It's actually nice because it keeps the boys happy, and I get to make dinner in peace....it's really a win/win.

Thi Guy

So this evening for dinner I made the kids pizza and french fries. You would think most kids would be excited about that...but not mine. The kids had been outside with our neighbor and Matthias did not want to come in...instead he wanted to go to our neighbors house and stay over there. I finally did get him in the house, but only after our neighbor persuaded him. I love Matthias because he loves people. You know he must like you if he is turning down pizza and french fries to hang out with you.

My Big Boy

This boy gives me a run for my money on most days....but I love him so very much!

Friends Forever

Justus and Charley rarely play nice with each other. I think this is mostly because they have the same personality. Today though they walked up and down the sidewalk laughing and holding hands.

Buddies

Charley has lately wanted to sleep in Thi's bed next to him. She is a snuggle bear when she sleeps. I have taken a couple of naps with her and she just likes to be close. Anyways, I think she likes knowing that someone is close by.

Sibling Love

Today was a good day as far as siblings went. I think it was only because we found the third Wii controller and Justus really wanted three people to play. He was being so sweet to Charley trying to convince her to play. She kept saying no...but Justus just kept being nice to her....so maybe he was just in a loving mood today. It was sweet.

Waiting

The mess continued in our yard again. The good thing is they finished and moved across the street. The bad news is they had our road closed off, so I had to walk the kids down the street to catch the bus today. I'm just thankful that it was really nice out, so it wasn't really a big deal.
